Chance Meeting at Mehrangarh
During the Marwar Festival, Ishika and Vikram crossed paths at the Mehrangarh Fort. A shared love for folk music from Langa musicians and a chance conversation about Rajasthani cuisine lit a spark that neither could ignore.
2020
Long Conversations & Longer Calls
Through the quiet of lockdowns, their friendship deepened into something beautifully irreplaceable. Evening calls stretched into nights, with stories of havelis, churma recipes, and childhood memories of Diwali melas.
2022
The Families Agree
With blessings from both the Poddar and Singhania families, the Sagai (engagement) was formalised. Vikram's family brought the traditional gold jewellery, and Ishika's mother wept happy tears over the Bandhani saree gifted to her.
2025
The Proposal at Umaid Bhawan
On the terrace overlooking the golden sands of Jodhpur, under a sky ablaze with stars, Vikram proposed with a diamond ring set in traditional Kundan work. Ishika said yes before he'd finished the question.
